Free events are free. For paid events, Tickety charges a simple 2.5% platform fee per paid ticket, plus payment processing costs. Organizers can choose to pass fees to buyers or absorb them into the ticket price. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no lock-in contract, and no hidden charges.

What are payment processing costs?

Card payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stripe processing fees are separate from the Tickety platform fee and may vary depending on the card type, payment method, and Stripe pricing. Tickety shows the fee calculation clearly during checkout.

Can I choose whether buyers or organizers pay the fees?

Yes. When creating or editing an event, you can choose to pass fees to the customer or absorb the fees as the organizer. This gives you flexibility depending on your event type, audience, and pricing strategy.

When do I get paid?

We calculate and store your organizer earnings on every paid order. Payouts are currently managed by the Tickety team and processed on request. Stripe Connect self-serve payouts are planned for a future release.

Can I edit an event after publishing?

Yes. You can update event details, replace the event poster, add ticket types, update ticket quantities, toggle ticket status, and manage discount codes after publishing.

Can I offer discount codes?

Yes. You can create percentage discounts, fixed amount discounts, or free-ticket discount codes. You can also set validity windows and usage limits.

How do QR tickets work?

Each ticket gets a unique QR code. Organizers can use the Scan Tickets page on a phone or tablet at the door to validate tickets and check in attendees.

How do I get my ticket?

After a successful purchase, Tickety emails you a confirmation with QR codes for each ticket. You can also view your tickets on the payment success page immediately after checkout.

Can I get a refund?

Refund policy is set by each organizer. Please contact the event organizer for refund requests. Tickety helps with platform support, but refund approval normally sits with the organizer.
